Wednesday 29th September

Dear parents and girls,

The October fixtures are as follows:

Saturday 2nd away to Wallasey  Wanderers Whites ko  12.30pm at the Delph

Saturday 9th no fixture

Saturday 16th home to Delta Colts ko 9.30am

Saturday 23rd (First weekend of the half term break) away to Greenleas ko 9.30am

Saturday 30th (Second week of half term break)  home to Upton ko 9.30am

With a small squad of just 9 it is important that all the girls show regular commitment for all the fixtures.

If you are unable to play in a game due to illness or being away for the weekend please let me know asap, other than that we expect all of you to be available for all the games.

Despite losing the first three games you have worked really hard showing great promise individually and collectively and in some of the games – particularly against Upton away deserved to get more out of the game. Keep coming to training and being available for the matches and you will get victories as you are good enough- sometimes you just have to believe in yourselves a bit more and encourage each other as a team

From Wednesday 3rd November we will be holding training on an astro turf pitch at the Old Hall Leisure Club. I will need to ask you to contribute towards the costs which initially will be £25 per girl – about £3 per session. If you wish to pay in cash that is fine or a cheque made payable to ‘D Harker,’ as I will be paying the hire cost s myself in advance. If you could let me have the money by Wednesday 20th October please – if you have any problem with this please contact me in confidence.

Some of the girls have been asking about personalised training tops – I will make some inquiries at the club and let the girls know the costs asap.

Thank you to everyone who helped with setting up and dismantling the  goals and setting up the pitch on Saturday- we couldn’t do it without your help and it is very much appreciated.

Any problems please do not hesitate to phone me
