The logic of the league rules

The Wallasey League have tonight told our representative at the League meeting that they don't like us passing comment on our website about their levying of fines for giving a months notice that we couldn't play a game that if we had played we would have been fined anyway as the registered coach couldn't make it and that is against the rules which incurs a fine.

They have also told us that they will on principle fine us for giving less than a months notice that we cannot make a game. It's now 21 November and fixtures have not been published for December 3, 10, or 17, all less than a month away. Just talk us through that again.

They have also said that if we fail to attend one of the monthly meetings will be fined £15 to cover administrative costs. These are the administrative costs of posting out the agenda and minutes of the previous meetings minutes and the agenda for the meeting we just missed. The Chairman of the League says it is an FA rule that these are sent out in paper form not by email. They won't send though send out the agendas in advance though by post or email. We have only missed one meeting this season but still get charged an admin fee.

So gentlemen of the League, we won't pass any further comment. Well not this week.
