Excellent turn out from both the girls and the parents on Saturday for the fun game at Upton. It was great to see a few family battles going on. At one point, Kenzie had hold of her Dads' leg and Robin was determined to score against Lucie, but she was outstanding. Berry v Berry, Brooks v Brooks, Worden v Worden, Riste v Riste, all over the field there were personal challenges. Lily was playing against her mum, her dad and and her uncle! Mike should have at least 4 free kicks due to deliberate fouls from Kiera, Caitlin and Ellie. Great to see the girls whose parents couldn't make it turning out and giving everything too, especially Megan and Emma.
We might do it again later in the year on a nice warm day when we can have a picnic afterwards.
Training this Wednesday at Old Hall. Thanks to those who have paid Jan training subs. Game next Saturday at home to Greenleas. Mike is away, but Paul Harrison (Emmas Dad) will be in charge and make sure the pitch is set up, and look after the team. Help to set up the pitch and take it down afterwards will be appreciated.
