After struggling with numbers for most of last season, the club will not be running an u18 league side this season, 2014/15. We really need about 15 players to enter a credible side in the Cheshire league and with injuries and girls reaching 18, we have only about 7 active players willing to carry on.
We will continue training on Wednesday evenings from Sept 3 and new girls are welcome.
We'd like to thank all of the girls who did their very best to keep going last season, which ended in an excellent and successful day at the Cheshire World Cup tournament. We'd also like to thank all of the girls who are leaving the club, most have been with us for 7 seasons. You've been a joy to coach and we've had some excellent times. We hope you will keep playing football in adult life, keep doing sport and look back fondly at your time at Waverton.
Good luck to those who we've got signed up with Frodsham u18s for 2014/15. We'll be supporting you!
